You are invited to join the Barony of Southron Gaard's SCA 60 Year Games Revel, to celebrate this auspicious occasion, and commemorate the start of the SCA's 60th New Year with an evening of comradery, merrymaking and revelry.
Come enjoy gentle and leisurely pursuits such as gaming, conversation, dancing, singing, and more.
Baronessa Isabel Maria del Aguila provided a range of period indoor and table games (many of which she also recreated) for the amusement of those present, such as:

With thanks to Their Excellencies for supplying Hnefatafl, backgammon, and a chess set, to Baroness Christian for providing a replica Lewis chess set, and Lord Simon for bringing some historically inspired games
Lady Enith verch Gwilim and The Honourable Lord Lowrans Wilyamson hosted dancing, in three sets, in the main hall, in addition to providing beautiful live music;

THNoble Vigdis delighted us with a delectable supper straight from the pages of the great Italian chef Scappi.
Milk Pies Royal Tourte Stuffed Eggs Goat Pies Small Flans Twists Tourte of Legumes Fresh & Dried Fruits and more...
Baroness Christian researched and masterminded a little SCA history quiz. Those present joined together in fun to find the answers.
Each correct answer earned a leaf for the wreath banner - one for every year of the Society. A completed banner, signalling success in the quiz, released the celebratory cakes!
(Excel spreadsheet. Click the answer box to read the answer in the formula bar up top.)
NOTE: This quiz is purely for fun. The stewards take no responsibility for the spelling or accuracy of clues, their sense of whimsy, or their googling skills. Good luck!
The stewards wish to share their thanks with all those who joined us in celebrating the 60th year of the Society for Creative Anachronism.
We hope you enjoyed a fine evening of good company, enjoyable passtimes, and delicious food!
